    Smile Changing boot logo

    Here are the steps
Download and unzip the attached file. Put all the files under "package_MP" directory. put the package_MP directory in the root directory same as firmware file. Perform firmware upgrade as usual

ps: this logo works with squash type firmware only

    Thanks for the post.

    Just curious:
Where did you derive your 1073_package_MP files from?
    What model did you follow?
What format are the logos in? They aren't bmp's nor are they realtek bmps.
    Most importantly of all:
What bootcode is this attempting to apply? Which rescue kernel?

Anyway, thanks for the interesting post.

The package is based on a Chinese branded 1073 player.
I suspect the bmp files are logoX.bin files. I still dont know how to convert the bmp to bin files. From Hex Editor, the bin files are different from felic bmp files.
I was told only the latest boot code that support logo changed.

Lastly, I don't recommend any user to change the boot logo yet. Even Serial cable may not be able to help if it fails.
