Thread: Sound problem

    Default Sound problem

I have a PBO box with a sound problem. When i start up the box i have no sound, i try to soft power off the box, change de HDMI sound settings, but nothing work. I also try different HDMI port on my TV, but nothing work. I need to go back and switch the power on/off manually on the hard switch behind the unit to get the sound back. It's getting really anoying to always switch power on/off.

I upgrade the firmware to the lastest (ES-51-283G-PCMPBO25-P05), but it doesn't work either.

    Someone have an idea ?

    Sincerely

    Eric

Try here similar issues but no real fix: http://patriotmem.com/forums/showpos...63&postcount=5

Apparently P61 seem to be better ???? I am not sure I do not have that issue.

You didn't mention if you have tried another HDMI cable.
Trying hocking up the analogue stereo output, if your problem is solved then the issue is with HDMI.

If you have tried other cables without success, be sure to make a post in the HDTV incompatibility thread.
