Hi there,

Seems I have the same problem as everyone else.

Using a Toshiba Qosmio X505 and HP DV7 so bought 2 of these; 1 for each notebook. The enclosure is simply not getting the power required to spin the drive properly... the HDD is not detected via your express card, but is vias standard USB 2.0.

This is quite disappointing and frustrating.

I have emailed support, as per the other threads... waiting patiently and frustrated.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Let me see what is going on. Was the request you made from the same registered e-mail address here? Did you receive any confirmation that the cables would be shipping?

I spoke in email with GR from my work email. My registered email here was used by KH, but only after I had given my address info to Gilbert. So a chance that one person is expecting the other to have resolved it.
