Thanks for the update tourist, for anyone who doesn't want to go through the downgrade check wigout's excellent solution here.
[*]Still new..? check the wiki. [*]Your shares gone for no reason ? Create a machine shortcut. [*]Trashing the G-adapter? upgrade cheaply to N. [*]Getting the hang of it? get organized .. add share shortcuts. [*]Getting sick of it ? it never hurts to rant here [*]Wishing for the time machine? give your PBO a makeover. [*]Bricked it while doing so ? unbrick it for $5[*]Not into cross flashing? keep it semi-official [*]Too lazy to read all that ? you asked for it.[*] Thank U PBO

Since I did a bootcode update at the same time, does "erase -m" accomplish the same thing?

Yup, you will know when you get to the setup the time/language on your first reboot.

I installed this and now I can't see the files on my external USB hard drive. When I connect it, it says USB Disc 1 connected but the USB is grayed out. Is there another way I can access the files?

Strange .. have you tried power cycling ? is this issue with the megapack or also with official P61 ?

The moServices died after running for a few hours. I could not access the main page of the PBO on the web but the WebTorrentHome is still accessible and working. I have to power cycle the box by the switch in the back to bring back the moServices page.

I turn on the control access last night. This morning I found the moServices at home page is gone. Now it is showing the original web login page and info as it was with factory firmware. Is it normal?

mmmm ... access control changes samba options (disabling write access to the PBO).

You can always try manually enabling the MOS services by issuing these two commands via telnet.
    Code:
    /usr/local/etc/mos/services enable
    /usr/local/etc/mos/services start

I ran the 2 lines and still did not help. I turned off Login Control and power cycle the box and still no moServices. I wonder what happened. First the moService stopped working after a few hours and now it is completely gone.
