Thread: see me the serial cord?

  1. #1

    Default sell me the serial cord?

    despite all effort this cord refuses to work so something is wrong.
    problems ranging from bad drivers, bad installers, half ass compatibility
    and unrecognized device

    so this is my last ditch effort to do this to my 10 PBO boxes
    (4 are mine and rest I hooked friends up with)

    sell me your known working cord. I don't care what it is as long
    ad its known working and I don't have to sever a leg to get it from you.

    please be in the USA,

    thanks in advance!

    if this is the wrong forum, let me know and apologies all around.....

    had trouble making the drivers install and then reliable.
    I was hoping someone would sell me one that isnt a hacked
    nokia cable.

    the pinout you saw was a translation of the actual plug that
    connects to the phone.

    but im getting desperate as I have about 8 of them to upgrade

    For reliability you have to solder the wires after you get them sorted correctly. They will come loose in tape and kinda work then not work and might be your problem you've had.

    yes, I am accustomed to such connections since I do allot of j-tagging to other devices. Im thinking the cable is bad since I found it in a thrift shop

    I can't sell you mine but this is the one I just bought and it worked for me last night:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_2312wt_882

    red = vcc
    black = ground
    white = tx
    green = rx

    I used the win 7 drivers shown in Aasoror's how to: http://www.patriotmem.com/forums/att...3&d=1272524620
