    Default Memory problem

I recently bought a 2GB kit of PC2-6400 memory and I just put it in a machine yesterday and my machine sees one of the sticks as 512 meg memory instead of 1GB. The memory stick is labeled as a 1GB stick as it should be. Did this memory get mislabeled or is my motherboard not recognizing it correctly?

My computer recognizes the other memory stick correctly as a 1GB stick.

If this isn't an issue with my motherboard, is there a way to get my memory stick replaced?

    Thanks

    Mark

    Default Memory problem

The memory part No. is PDC22G6400LLK.

My motherboard is a ASRock 775Dual-VSTA running a Intel Core Duo e6300 processor.

The computer boots up with both sticks of memory with no problem, it simply recognizes one as being a 512 stick rather than a 1GB, as I said above.
