Official Box Office Member of the Month Program - (August & September)

We at Patriot Memory want to extend our thanks for making the Box Office community what it is today. In appreciation for your dedication and effort, we have decided to give back to the PBO community here by recognizing some key members and handing out some freebies. We know that the community here has started their own unofficial member of the month threads- but now let’s make things official!

With over 2500 posts here on the forums, the PBO community would not be where it is without Aasoror… we will be contacting you soon Aasoror to claim your prize!

Please be sure to congratulate Aasoror, and vote for September’s member of the month! Beginning September, the “Member of the Month” will be voted by you, the PBO and Patriot Forum community. Members will receive their choice of a 60GB Inferno SSD, 64GB Xporter XT Rage USB Flash Drive, Valkyrie Nas, or High-Performance memory (TBD similar value according to their system specs).

We tried to select users based on activity and quality of posts. Since this is a Community giveback, if anyone is not on the list that deserve to be please let us know. We will do our best and will try to make this a monthly thing from here on out. Unfortunately we can only award one winner per month and winners cannot be nominated again the next 3 months. Polling will be open between now and September 6th, Labor Day. With that being said… who should the Box Office member of the month be for September 2010?

Thank you for the honors, its really refreshing to see genuine interest in backing up the support community.

That said, I have to point out that the nomination list is missing "tskitishvili", despite the scarcity of his posts, his posts are indeed are of the most influencing when it comes to the PBO community development.

You have kindly said "the PBO community would not be where it is without without my contribution", and I in turn would honestly say "My contributions would not be where it is without tskitishvili major contributions".

You being an admin knows that tskitishvili is still active on this board, he just made a habit of only contributing when he can actually add to the discussion.

And since you brought up that choice would be made by the community, I would like to refer you to the another thread where the community is still voicing their appreciation towards tskitishvili efforts in leveraging this box.

I do think that tskitishvili has earned himself a spot in the nomination thread above, and its fair to allow the community the option to show their gratitude for his sincere and genuine efforts.

In fairness to others (since polling has already began) tskitishvili will be automatically added in next month. We may have overlooked tskitishvili looking at recent active posts, but since you and many others vouch for tskitishvili that definitely goes a long way...

Aasoror, what a gentleman! You deserve it, buddy .. you've served here answering even the most obvious newbie questions when no one else would pipe up, your in-depth knowledge easily recognized by anyone. And you've done it with genuine humility and malice toward none. You've supported Patriot's finer points through thick and thin because, after all, no other box plays as well and with such consistency. But as we all know, you've never been a lapdog either, and can call a spade a spade when it comes right down to it. Congratulations!!

Thank you for your vote of confidence billcat but I like to win so I voted for wigout. Although his number of post might have diminish of late; when he has something intelligent to say to steer us in the right direction on various project he makes his presence known. He is also the only moderator we have on this forum and does a lot of work behind the scene that might sometimes go unnoticed. Go wigout go !!!

I've been pretty busy lately and not watching the PBO forum as much as usual - I just now read Ben's post from yesterday - all I can say is WOW - it's nice to see PM/Ben (and CJ as of late) back here on the forum - and especially the context of the post (aasorors well deserved recongition) - congrats buddy

As aasoror mentioned - tskitishvili should definately be on Sept's MOM list - as charlieharper put it " tskitishvili, you bastard! thanks a million; Patriot should arrange some comp for you because your posts did stop many RMAs I'm sure--mine certainly" - well it looks like charlies mention of compensation is going to happen and on a monthly basis - man, those are some nice prizes too!
And when Oct. comes around Snappy will get my vote

The PBO has evolved into a great little box - and the help and advise of a select few of very knowledgeable members of this community have been a major part of that evolution - and are finally getting 'official' recognition for it

This is very exciting, as Aasoror is one of the biggest enthusiasts of this box and did an outstanding job promoting many of the possibilities of this box. Congratulations!
It is exiting to see new features added as well, and the renewed communication energy from Patriot - it is always great to be communicated about the upcoming changes, even if they get delayed, it gives users like us something to look forward to!
