Hi Aasoror, I was trying to play with the new goodies you've fixed for us. Is the "P05-IMS-DEMO__BC16_megapack" Link being updated? I tried to download it. The link no longer works.
I just purchased my new PBO less than month ago. For some reason, it still has Bootcode 16 on it. Mean while I am trying to make a Serial cable to update it.

    I was able to download:

    P05-IMS-Demo (for BC16)
    and
    P05-IMS-Demo (for BC16) Lite

I am mainly interested in some Internet World Radio Staions and Xlive TV at the moment if available. No Internal HD on my PBO. But 1gb thumb drive for temp files. I can install the internal HD or the FLASH => Sata Drive for silent operation. But before I do that, I want to make that I really need it.

    Thanks,
    Sam

Funny I have just noticed the link right now. Its fixed ..

Since you don't have an HDD installed your feedback about how metafeeds and xlive runs would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I got it downloaded. I had to modify the url to download it.

    From this:

    hhttp://www.4shared.com/file/GrwiZcEN/P05-IMS-DEMO__BC16_megapack.html

    To this:

    http://www.4shared.com/file/GrwiZcEN..._BC16_megapack

Just removed the .html from the end of the url and I was able to download it.

I am going to try it right now.

It will be my pleasure to provide feedback. I am excited.

    Thanks,
    Sam.

Once a USB drive is inserted and mounted the mount persist even after the drive is disconnected (USB light is also on).
My PBO has-- P020BC16-53 on it.

I tried the front and back USB ports with a thumb drive, the light turns off after removing the USB thumb drive. I even tried running a movie from the network while removing the thumb drive to see if there was any delay in the USB light blinking. The light turned off and stayed off. I will try it again later. As I am really excited to try your new modified IMS Megapack Firmware.

Ok. The new "P05-IMS-DEMO_(BC16).megapack" is great! Great job Aasoror!

PBO without an internal HD feedback.......
    -------------------------------------------------------
Some of the Feeds work and some don't. I have a 3.0MB DSL Speed. I don't know how I can tell if any of them do not work because of no internal HD or because of my Internet connection. Can someone with a PBO that has an internal Hard Drive tell me any specific feeds that work on their unit from Xlive or any other feed. I will try the same feed on my PBO with no internal HD to see the performance.

All of the Youtube feeds say"cannot play this file, Confirm". Some of the others from different feeds has the same message.
Some of the feeds that work, works great even at full screen. The Metafeeds > onnetwork(HD) feeds have hiccups. I don't know if its because of no Hard drive. I even have the 1gb flash in the front USB port with no change in performance. Has anyone tried these feeds to see if they work on the PBO that has an internal Hard Drive?

But overall, I still like this new megapack Firmware way better.

    Thanks,
    Sam

This is great news, your experience is similar to mine (with an HDD installed and metafeeds running off overmounted HDD folder).
You tube wont work because You tube changed their interface to block these players.
Some other feeds doesn't work because some flv's aren't support on the box, last time I tried most feeds under xLive -> Food channel and xLive -> Technology and xLive -> Nature were working fine (some in full HD) no hickups whatsoever, network speed is indeed a factor (though I am not sure 3Mb would be a bottleneck).

    Thanks for the great feedback,
    Enjoy your PBO.

You don't need to, metafeeds is already installed in the megapack. (+ xLive and the RSS-Based jukebox)

That said, for both the unofficial moddable and the lite version (which doesn't have metafeeds pre-installed) you can certainly do so.
