    It is an issue caused by some green hdds trying to sleep on their own. This technically is against the specs for USB, as the host must command USB devices to sleep.

    Either way, I am sure there is a fix in the works for it.

    Same problem for me, also with the sleep time disabled. I'm returning this gear to the vendor: it's not reliable.

    The fix was made, its an updated firmware available here http://www.patriotmemory.com/softwar...rBox_V1.33.rar
    I AM NOT A PATRIOT MEMORY EMPLOYEE.

    But they have, on occasion, bribed me with hardware.

    I have already installed this firmware, this not solve various hang-up.

    the same here. I've updated to the last firmware, the problem is still there. I even have no hd attached and all services turned off, then the box freezed after few minutes.
