Check your wires and connections. I am using some pins to connect the USB-TTL cable to the newer version of PBO. Sometimes the connection is not good and it will show the same non-stop message in hyperterminal. I have to turn it off, reconnect the pins and cable to get it to work.

Go back to the first page of this thread and make sure you have wires in the correct order. I am using a 3-wire version, so I have no vcc and leave the second pin empty.

No Input Vcc require? The Second pin you meant VCC?

Yes. My USB-TTL cable is the 3-wire version and has no vcc.

Would you take image shot of your TTL board?
I can not believed it, any Eprom or Flash memory need Voltage to turn on.
    Or
The Flash memory got vcc from AC adapter when plug in.

My cable also only has 3 wires: rx, tx, gnd. The cable with 4 wires uses the power of the PBO to power up the circuit inside the cable (TTL converter) the one with only 3 wires use the power of the USB port power (+5Vdc) to power up that same circuit. Your PBO must be connect to the wall socket and turn on when you are doing this whether you have the 3 or 4 wires adapters.

    Hope this clarify your doubts.

    Cheers !!!

EDIT: Just to add a little bit, the VCC connection (RS232 TTL teerminal) on the PBO is an output (+5Vdc) not an input.
