I am connecting to a PC, but I'm not confident enough to reset my modem, only because I don't know how to reconfigure it when I'm done. I have two other options. I'm going to use my phone tomorrow as a hot spot and see if that works. I also am going to try to use the adapter on my home PC and see how it goes. If that doesn't work I'll be back in touch. Thanks

After some more research I found that it is saying there is a firewall issue. Maybe our security is preventing access?

That is a possibility yes. Are you able to disable the firewall temporarily to see if this alleviates the issue? If you get the chance, try testing it on the home pc as well and let me know how that goes.

Final resolution. It was indeed a firewall issue and our IT guy fixed it (YAY!) but the program update I wanted that was the basis for starting this whole project is no longer available from the vendor! Well I tried - plus I can now access the web from the showroom...if I ever need it.
