Has anyone tried to gain remote control access for SlingBox Media? I have read everywhere but no success. I would like to contol my PBO via Slingbox Media so that I can access movies etc through my Iphone.

I found the keymapping for the Patriot Box Office from the JP1 website but I could not get it to work. I used Remote Master to load this file and exported it as a Slingbox BIN file but the commands don't seem to work through the Slingbox IR Blaster.

Does anyone out there have the IR codes for the Patriot Box Office remote for me to confirm with this file and do you know the IR Protocol that is used for the Patriot Box Office remote?

Thanks aasoror for providing the hex codes for the Patriot remote. All the codes match the ones from the JP1 website keymap file link I've provided on the previous post.

I'm wondering if you ever used RemoteMaster and if you know what IR protocol the Patriot Box Office remote uses. I included a link to a list of protocols available for RemoteMaster.

When I tested out the command via SlingPlayer 2.0, I see a command sent via the IR lead, using my cellphone camera, to the Patriot Box Office with no response on the menu so I'm assuming the incorrect protocol is chosen. This was an unsuccessful test of the power button.

I have no experience with RemoteMaster or Slingbox .
That said, have you tried RC-6 protocol ? my RC-6 transceiver picks up the PBO remote button presses (haven't done further testing so not sure if the transceiver can actually understand the button presses)

Below is a link from the JP1 forum for the Slingbox IR-to-PBO BIN created by Al Richey.

If you load the RMDU file in Remote Master, note that a few buttons are mislabeled but all the commands work flawlessly. I attached the corrections below in case anyone decides to re-map the buttons theirself. I have mine uniquely mapped for ease of iPhone navigation. Hope this helps the OP.

The Exit button is actually Return
The Chapter is actually Prev
The Zoom is Enter/Zoom
