Disc/File-Scan doesn't work for me with this NTFS Beta.

I spoke too soon,for some reason the file transfer just dies after a while across the network.

But at least with ntfs I can hook it up to my pc to transfer large files.

Reading from it it doesnt freeze but writing to it across the network is very buggy resulting in freezing.

Hi,
I tried the 1.30 fat32 and NTFS- There i cannot see my files via FTP - The SMB works correctly.

I want to use the GearBox as a FTP server for using in the Internet - so with this version it is a fake.
Now I tried the 1.27 - so what a wunder - The FTP works correctly. Why can it work in the older version and not in the new?

I thought, the company Patriot is a Special company for storage and networkstorage. I am frustrated!

Please let me know, whats wrong.

Just another disappointed user! The concept is great, the Hardware might also be great, but due to miserable Firmware we can't tell -yet. I guess we're all waiting and hoping for some reliable firmware.
(The freeze that seems to happen at harddisk spin down bugs me the most just now! - and I am using the latest FW)
