PEP21G6400LL Dual Channel issues

I bought a pair of the PEP21G6400LL dimms when I built my new system. I'm using an MSI K9N SLI Platnium Mobo. I cannot get this ram to pass mem86. I've run the test wit a single dimm and both dims pass. I've tested every socket and they pass. As soon as I test in dual channel mode it fails test #7.

I've tried auto ram setting, 4-4-4-12-1t, 4-4-4-12-2t all at 2.1v

I've tested the mobo with some PNY D22GX530PT and it passes mem86 in dual channel mode. So I assume the mobo is not the issue.

Any ideas?

memtest86 tests everything including the cpu and motherboard. Why don't you try one of the other memory testers like the microsoft memory diagnostic and see how it tests out.
