    Angry Unit Won't power Up!

Just received my unit in the mail, was excited to start streaming some xmas movies but the unit won't power on, no lights.... nothing. Verified the outlet has power, the power switch is on in the back. Tried turning on with remote as well. Don't hear any fans going. Sound like an RMA?

Do you see a red or a green light on the front?
First time i flipped the power switch on the back it automatically booted and powered on without me having to press the power button on the remote.
If you have a volt meter, check the voltage on the power supply for the unit, that could be defective.

They're working on the fan noise as we speak by providing us with replacements before Dec 15th.
If you do not have a HDD in the unit you can unplug the fan and run the PBO without it.
I upgraded to the new beta firmware and noticed last night that it got a little quieter, but perhaps its all just in my head.

it's in your head . Yes we will have replacement fan next week as promised. as soon as it hits our warehouse, i will post a thread to deal with RMA procedure. There is no need to send us any thing back, once RMA receive we will send our spare fans for replacmenet.

I just return mine today. The freezing was too much of a problem for me after running two hours straight. And it was in a climate controlled area with my other equipment and it got hotter than my reciever.
