I can confirm that my preview mkvs that didn't play now play. Dts is still not correctly sent to my stereo via hdmi
My PC:
Intel Q9550 • MSI P35 • 8GB OCZ 1066 • ATi 5870 • WD 640GB Black x 2 Raid 0 • 700W OCZ • Asus 26" LCD
Patriot Box Office & Home Setup:
Firmware v.PCMPBO25-P02 • Toshiba 160GB Sata-II installed
Vizio VL470M 47" 120Hz LCD
Monoprice 1.3 HDMI/Spdif Cables
Thanks Patriot_CJ, my only biggest beef is the S/PDIF-RAW issue and constantly having to change mode. Either that make a button on the remote to switch the mode instead of having to goto audio setup menu.
Eventhought there are some 'major' faults, I'm pretty happy with PBO. I already have 7 people purchased the PBO based on my recommendation (4 friends and 3 co-workers).
HG: Just to make sure I understand this correctly: the unit will reset all the active torrent downloads, saved material etc., upon upgrading the firmware?
Pretty bad...
1) current version can't seem to play any raw AVI (DV AVI recorded from a video Sony camcorder)
2) playing flac files is not always working
3) bit torrent selection works only with single files. would be helpful if possible to select and load multiple torrent files at once. Also adding a scheduler.
4) EXIF information in jpeg files (orientation information) not used. would be helpful to add that to the jpeg viewer.
Thanks,
Hg
yes it will reset your download. So i would suggest you finish download before you flash the firmware. Unfortuantely there is really no way around that.
for Flac, can you supply us a small rip file for test?
After couple hrs of screen shots.. system went down.....
redoing screen shots today, will post either today or tomorrow.
