Warp 32 GB v2-Input/Output Error when formating with Mac

Hello,

I just finished installing a brand new Warp 32GB v2 SSD in my unibody 15" macbook pro (newest model as of 11/10/09). The drive mounts as expected in disk utility.

However, when when I attempt to format (using a GUID, single partition or an other disk format), disk utility fails with the error "Partition Failed with this error: Input/Output error."

I have attempted to format using both a boot dvd and from primary OS.

Do I have a bad drive? Firmware issue? Problem with the SATA controller in the new MBP?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
