Default SSD Patriot Warp 32 V.2 trouble

    System Specs:

    AMD Phenom 9750 Quad
    Asus M3A78 Pro
    XFX 9800 gt
    Corsair XMS 4gb

    Hey people,

Just purchased new SSD drive, inserted Windows Vista Install cd and got half way done and got a error and installation shut down. So I shut the computer down and started it up, when it got to the boot screen a error was posted "Error loading Operating System" and it wouldn't boot from a cd anymore. I inserted the drive as a slave on my other computer, I deleted the partition and reformatted. Now when I turn the computer on it shows the drive in bios, but when It gets to the boot screen, it acts like there is no hard drive. " Please insert boot device or media......"
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    thx

Sounds like your CDROM died. How far can you get in the reinstall process?

    Thanks for the response,
That's what I thought at first too but, I have another hard drive with a OS on it and I was able to open a cd while on that drive. Its showing the SSD in bios but not using it as a storage device.
