Hi,
I've reset the unit to factory default, loaded firmware 1.5, loaded TorrentFlux 1.42B, then loaded upnp.bz2
I'm still unable to login to the Media Server using user id "admin" password "admin"
Any other suggestions?
Observations during the process....
After factory default, Network Services still listed mvsn and torrentflux.
After I loaded the firmware Network Services still listed mvsn and torrentflux.
Installed software lists the following:
Name Version Vendor Description
mvsn 1.5 Rovi Corp A MediaServer for the Stormsemi GeminiNAS
torrentflux 2.3 GPL A BT for the Stormsemi GeminiNAS
Haven't tried streaming avi to PS3 yet but I suspect I'll have the same problem as I'm unable to login to the media server.
Regards,
Mark
I am having the same issue, I can't log into MVSN as admin/admin.
I tried reformatting my drive. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling upnp.bz2.
I am running the latest firmware and latest torrentflux.
Nothing is working.
i assume you haven't changed your password, what OS are you running?
Try clear the web cache or reboot system, see if it helps.
Hi umm i got the Xbox 360 not being able to see the Corza Nas and i am trying to install the UPnP.bz2 but i can't find it on the web it gives me other upnp software.
Where can i download this?
In my case the Corza has been defaulted and definatly admin/admin is correct userid/password. I do use these credentials successfully to log into Torrantflux/Corza WebGUI and when I UNC to the NAS.
I have tried logging into the upnp network service using IE 8 and Firefox. Have cleared cookies and rebooted. I've tried using both Vista and Windows 7. Problem remains unsolved.
The upnp network service also seems to stop working completely after a while and even the login page starts coming up with a "Page not found" type screen. If I untick "Enabled", save it and then tick "Enabled", save it, on the upnp Network Service it does fix the upnp login "Page not found" error. Behaviour remains unchanged...that is admin/admin does not login.

Mark

I did change the password on my NAS, but I have already tried logging in with those credentials and it didn't work either.
I even reformatted my NAS and left everything on default settings (ie password being admin/admin) and was still unable to log into MVSN after uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Am running Vista HP 64bit with SP2.
Is there any alternative program we can use instead of running MVSN?
Hi Patriot,
Is there an update coming to address this issue? Or is the problem localised to our configuration?
Please let us know if this is a known problem. I'm personally OK waiting for the next release of firmware. But I would like to know whether I should pursue a fix or just wait for the next release of firmware.

Mark
