Well folks, thought I'd pass along this tid bit of information to you,
just arrived in Clearwater FL, left the PBO in my small suitcase so it
made a hectic trip. Just wasn't room in my carry on,...

It's a 4footer so yeah probably too much but as I was able to view the difference, to my eyes and ears at least, I figured to stick with the one that worked and not mess around with something else....

Well, I am old ;) and I agree that I think the tint is coming from the processor some how, it surges when it does appear.

And I think this new cable, overall seems to provide a bit better image...

I just got home and was about to update the tread, picked up a 4' Rocketfish cable from BestBuy, had a couple coupons so the hit wasn't too hard and the image appears nicer, which of course made me...

Just one other from the PBO setup, it also would do this sometimes when I'm on the road traveling,
with a flatscreen tv, in a way made me feel a little better as I was worried my set was going, but...

Just checking here, I think it's the PBO that's turning the tv screen overall into
a greenish tint, very weird, is something dying in the unit?

The tv otherwise doesn't do that, turn off the PBO...

Tried loading it on my other PBO, the one I travel with, but found that when I have a full dvd folder, you click on it and asks if you want to play the folder and of course I say yes, same as on the...

Well, spoke just a little too soon, tried shutting down and back on again and hit with the brief display and then black screen again :(
no matter which sequence I try, so back to the IMS-Demo for...

I have only done the 'normal' way, TV on first and then PBO
I haven't tried it in reverse...yet, but if it's worth a shot, I'll give it
a go later on today, at the inlaws right now for Easter...

Double Drat, I was hoping this would work on my TV, Samsung TX-S3082WH HD CRT,
still no joy, had to go back to IMS-Demo version.

Symptom's are that it will work via the Composite cable...

Just checking in as I see the Firmware thread, a new one is pending it seems, nice :)

But I read there are higher bootcodes than 20, is there a way for the end users to
be able to update that...

Ok, the situation stands as this, I rolled back a step to the IMS-Demo
version and now, the audio is back in sync again with the video,

same hard drive
same movie
same HDMI cable
same HDMI...

The new look is nice, just got back from a business trip, worked great
in both the Holiday Inn flat screen LG model as well as in the Country Inn & Suites
really really old crappy CRT style tv ;)

I tried to listen via the tv speakers last night, but nothing would work
no matter which output I selected, only thing I didn't try yet was to
unhook the fiber optic cable, but, I wouldn't think...

well, I took the plunge to try the demo version out on one of the PBO's I have
and it seems to work ok, a couple of things about it though;

Nope, just using the external USB ports and I don't use the computer cables
either, just external hard drives, which I carry around the world with me along
with the PBO

Well now the P02 is acting up, HDMI audio dropped out
Video setting only showed able to select 480p

So I reflashed it again, it seemed to work this time, will check
again tonight, hoping that...

Well, I’ve resigned myself to staying with PO2 on Both of my PBO units.
All other versions seem to fail within a day or so after being installed, tried the latest P53,
that seemed to work but soon...
