It may be an intermittent bug that has shown up in these threads a few times. Power off the unit and power back on. Now play the files again, and it will probably include audio.

A VPN connection is probably more like what you want, but not sure that can be setup with the PBO as I have never used BT.

I would recommend re-encoding using Handbrake.
