OK - just be sure you are using bootcode 18+ if you flash frmw P70R2 - you could search the forum for how you could update your bootcode to a higher version than bc 16 - or send your PBO into Patriot...
Your problem is most likely because you are downloading the MKV's (as aasoror "kind-of" eluded to)--you should be ripping your media from original physical media you have purchased - in any case the...
Not sure what you mean by... "any news on the new version that supports the "new" MKV?"
Did these MKVs work for you before
How are you creating your MKVs? - from the original, retail physical...
I tried WD's powerline kit to no avail - most likely because of multi legs in the wiring -- I then used a wireless N Bridge for a short time, but because of buffering problems when streaming HD/BD...
I'm not familar with a NAS or TVersity, but I think the answer might be 'no' - But I can say that PlayOn installed and functions without issue on my Windows Home Server, which runs an Operating...
Sorry for the misunderstanding - You have v. P61 from Oct 13 2011 - check the release notes for the newer frmw versions in the link I posted and see what the versions add -- in general though, I...
I believe aasoror meant to say frmw version as you asked for - in any case the stop/pause sequence he mentioned will give you the bootcode # and frmw version -- if you look at the 'Firmare Releases'...
Guess you figured it out while I was typing/recommending what you did
Check to see if any instances of Windows Live was installed - unintall it if so - reboot and check to see if your issue still persists
Glad you found the 'Live' issue - I think a lot of us kind of forget to mention this when troubleshooting your type of issue because most of us had 'banished' all traces of Live many moons ago
And...
Well then, that pretty much rules out a few bad rips/corrupt files
What tool/app are you ripping your personal files/content with
If you're not already using MakeMKV (free for DVD use always,...
If PM's customer service is up to the same standards as when I needed a new remote a couple months ago, you should be all smiles very soon :D
Does this happen with "All" of your AVIs and MKVs or only a certain few -- and does it stop at the same time/place in the movie(s) - or does it stop at different and random areas
And is it...
There are a couple of media players out there with an "Audio Sync +/-" offset feature - whether the PBO will offer this in the future, only PM knows
Wish I could get back to your "Over Here" :( -- I've got you beat by a couple years shy of a decade, in a race I really don't want to win :)
I beleive since the PBO does not have a web browser to enter the IP Cams URL it can't be accomplished - someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't been able to do this on the PBO yet
Not sure what's causing your issue(s) - I ripped this same content as a 1:1 MKV using MakeMKV and it plays without issue on P70R2 -- I used the Next, FF, Prev, CM Skip buttons with no problems and I...
Use the PlayOn UPnP server to access Netflix and much more - install it on a PC on your network
The frmw version is your choice - check the last sticky on the Media Players forum - or check...
aasoror's 3 choices are your best options - recently I chose the 2nd 'and' 3rd options when I needed a new remote -- PM replaced one at N/C (when supplying proof of purchase for the PBO) - and I...
I've had the same issue on multiple frmws - I reported it some time ago but afaik there's no fix for it -- and it seems to affect some but not others - I quit using PO on the PBO for this reason
I'm sure you're frustrated, but just an FYI - the issue is more Windows' 7 fault than it is the PBO's - there are many other media boxes having the same complications when trying to share a W7 server...
I still don't have a definate answer - it's possible the HDD that the PBO does see, somehow eliminates the confusion it seems to have recognizing the 2Tb HDD and/or possibly 'opens' the pathway so...
I'm not really sure what's causing your issue - my 'guess' would possibly be the different file systems formatted on different partitions could be confusing the PBO
The most current frmw is P70R2...
I recently had a remote replaced by PM - the process was painless and quick, they mailed it to me as 1st class postage - and, I also ordered one from eBay to have as a spare - It cost $6.90 shipped -...
