I have a feeling that these cards can simply not support 7200RPM drives in a USB 3.0 enclosure. Period. Even with the external power to a spare (Why oh why...) USB 2.0 port, they simply cannot...

Been over a month and still waiting for the promised cables to arrive.

Seems I have the same problem as everyone else.

Using a Toshiba Qosmio X505 and HP DV7 so bought 2 of these; 1 for each notebook. The enclosure is simply not getting the power...
