i may have been overzealous with the time to make firmware. i'm just itching to see the potential of the player to be unleashed. I was thinking the coders could be a well known group...

they don't need to post the update. we need the source code. with android development where it is it'd take the hardcore coders maybe a week or two to give us a stunning firmware

i agree once the source is released we will be able to see more community help on the development side

on the note of phone os being modded, maybe patriot should send one of the leading groups the player and code. it would be neat to see what they would do with the players firmware.
