Man this aasoror guy takes my perfectly good rant and turns in a logical thoughtful reply with actual information, geez what fun is that :)
since I already own the box, I'm just bummed that now...
I'm so disappointed. Here it is the 5th generation of firmware and this box still does not support HD menus? How can you advertise this box as an HD compatible devise when it won't load a blu-ray...
I haven't seen anyone mention if the new firmware will play a Blu-Ray menu?
I take HD videos shot on my Sony camcorder, edit them and then create a Blu-Ray disc image, the PBO plays the main movie...
Really, wow that's very disappointing. Is this something that is being fixed for future firmware?
One key reason I bought this box was so without having to burn a blu-ray disc, I could edit my HD videos, create a DVD menu and play it on my HDTV. This would eliminate the need for a Blu-Ray burner...

Several hours of trying, I followed the Windows 7 sticky topic instructions , still cannot get the box to see any of my Windows 7 computer's drives or folders. When I click on //homegroup or...

Anybody doing this?
Thanks for the input. It does sound like having an internal HDD is best. If I understand correctly, it looks like I should be able to connect to my home network and download movie images to the...
I'd like to buy this box as it looks to be exactly what I'm looking for. I primarily want to watch DVD images (.iso) and play my AVCHD home movies, hoping to eventually create an HD movie and play...
