Yes linux sorts by number upper case and then lower case so if you want them sorted all together change them to either start with all upper case or all lower case.
Are they both win7 home or different editions? Somewhere in the system security settings there is something different between the 2 laptops and I can't remember what the system security widget is...
What kind of tv and what model is it so maybe someone might have one on here or we could go look at the users guide and tell you what settings to try on the TV side.
The problem was avast that blocked seeing all the files not AVG. There might be some setting within avast to fix the issue instead of removing it.
Push the TV system button and wait a few seconds and then push it again till it looks fine.
Yes if you don't want everything in the root share to show on the PBO then you would fix this easiest by either adding another share on the NAS or changing your original one.
You would have to overmount the first share mount folder onto the usb drive folder and that would be what you want.
Or just create another separate share within your first share placing those 3...
The bulk of people on here are using thumbgen and you have to go to settings and change the output filenames for it to work with the medebo wall.
That has to do with the nature of sharing and permissions and you either have to change your share structure or after mounting the root then do an overmount of the folders to certain defined...
Look for an aasoror post and click on the network share link in his signature and the instructions are there. I need to update my signature and put a wiki link and a few other links to these basic...
Lol I was wondering if he was missing the point that enabling it would make it zoom out ;)
What are your actual shares named on the NAS? If it's a single share you will have to create a single location ( I use generic term media) and then mount the share to that location. You cannot mount...
Or just go to the rcS and add a mount for it and place it under the HDD just like we do the network share shortcuts and just remember if a hard drive is already present to create a folder in the hard...
You have to give a username with the -o option even if you have it setup for public access. Just add user no password in the mount line and it will work.
A previous person on here found that their antivirus program on the share system was the cause of the files not all showing up.
Its obvious that being a media player that when actual video files are present, the player will preload the file when it is scrolled to. I'm betting the preload is for several reasons. To determine...
At present none of the patriot firmware are capable of utilizing the fixes that are present in the 1073+ version of the chip and only the newest acrbo and medebo are capable of doing DTS without...
I'm running medebo so that doesn't apply and my firmware setting in medebo is multi channel passthru for the hdmi. Try medebo firmware and see if you get any different results.
Ok 6 channel DTS is not supported on pbo chipset and firmware and will downmix. Some later pbo have the 1073+ version which has the DTS fix in the silicon and the only firmware that shows if that...
Then it has to be hdmi handshake issue and have you tried different firmware on the pbo as they all have different hdmi fixes embedded in them and as a last resort check and see if there is a...
Ok this bears repeating and probably a good thing to sticky......on later versions of firmware are a large fomatted fat32 bug that large type drives that are formatted fat32 cannot be mounted and...
Go to setup and under network it shows the ip address that was handed to the box and yes the info on the wiki is the way to do it.
To get from an audio source to a audio output system all paths to that audio have to be 5.1 capable. If your TV is connected HDMI to the PBO and HDMI to your surround system it should output 5.1 via...
Try turning the pbo off with a switch and then bring it back up and see if it works.
