This is a total embarrassment, Patriot should say that the drive will not perform to its rated capabilitys with the a marvel 6.0 controller on the X58 platform.

This is not acceptable for a top tier SSD. There has to be a controller card that will allow the Wildfire to perform at its rated speeds on an X58 platform.

Yes I did some homework and found out that this drive has problems with the X58 platform, dont you think you could make people aware of that fact before they go and spend 459.00 + tax.

Just change the port it on.
