"I also tried accessing the PBO using telnet in terminal and again could not get past the login."
So in Terminal,
telnet 192.168.0.102
Doesn't produce any response from PBO?

What's your mac's IP?
So in "Sys' pref's" -> Sharing you clicked on "Options" & ticked "Share files & folders using SMB"?
So you type Cmd - K in Finder, type your PBO's IP & in the ensuing Dialogue box, what happens...
Stevey3d's setup is pretty much what mine is, so it would be worth looking at that router.

You mean "on" your PBO?
Until your PBO gets an IP address from your router, you won't see anything.
It might be easier to start with no security settings & broadcast your SSID so you can see it...
It has little to do with your PBO.
You need to read the documentation for your router to allow your PBO's IP to be made available to the WAN, whereas currently it's probably (hopefully :)?) only...
Because it's looking for a "DLNA" compatible renderer, which your PBO is not.
Not many "low end" media players are actually.
.."I have lots of home videos shot on my canon camera that is in the MOV format. Firmware P53 plays the files just fine but BT doesn't work for me. Firmware P62 runs BT fine but audio doesn't work on...
*If* it can manage to read the actual media itself, it's just fine with AV files. Generally it's bearable with DVD -, but seems incapable of understanding + media.
I have that message too, but mainly with DVD+ rather than - , blanks. + dvd's are ok on my mac, & here the prices weren't too bad so I bought a 100 or 2, but generally media player results are poor....
rcS is the actual file to edit - it's not a directory.
How does the box present you with that level of detail when the problem occurs?
We have no more PPC macs here, but try this, as I don't remember 10.5.8 being vastly different.
Turn on file sharing under system preferences.
Then click "Options" & tick "Share files & folders...
The Player's OS just reads a file's extension initially to determine if it will display the filename on screen & if it's worth attempting to decode it. You can check this for yourself by, for...
Looks very interesting, thanks.
I would like to try optware, but wonder if the above would obviate the need for the procedure described here?

Thanks, but no luck with that, either "not found" or "permission denied" when I try to execute it. An old 113 works ok, odd.
Edit:
rebooted, now works thanks :)

Thanks for that info'. Sadly impact domain is no more :(
Any alternative for a recent static build for busybox please?
I've only just spotted your post.
I do not like transcoding. It was one of the reasons I bought a media player - to avoid such!
The dvr-ms files are MPEG2 files in some form of Microsoft...
You mean "3 folders which are on the mac", yes?
Where did you setup this "account"?
Ok, let's hope it continues to work :)
Can you elaborate, as I'm unclear on what you want to do?
You're welcome.
I think that's highly unlikely.
dotIMG files are not usually associated with AV files on a mac, so aasoror's request is your best option, but it looks like you can't extract one. Can you tell us...
In the Finder, if you do "Apple-key" K (Connect to server) & type in your PBO's IP what happens?
You can actually publish your local address as nobody reading this here will be able to access it :)
