ive heard of this problem with this and other NAS boxes. it has something to do with the box cant have two way communication with the printer. it sux, wish I could help...

when I extract .rar files in my valkyrie it takes literally like an hour. On my computer it takes less than a minute. I have a fast network and im hardwired to the modem and so is the nas.

I don't mean to sound like a jack@## but maybe you should install windows 7. Try configuring the printer manually, if you can avoid the wizard it would likely work

the nas needs both drives installed in order to format and configure to raid1 array( I think) . maybe I'm wrong, best of luck...
