I have not sent either back. When you mention early revisions of the board i assume you mean bios versions? I don't think there is but 1 version of the actual board itself.
What process do I...
You might want to read through the post I have on here with similar issues. I was never able to get the memory running stable at its rated spec. There are several other reports of this from...
I had also emailed gigabyte support in regards to this, here is the reply they sent. It does not seem like Patriot and Gigabyte are communicating very well to take care of the people affected by...
I contacted gigabyte a few min ago. The support guy told me the board was fine and recommended using corsair or kingston memory as it was stable at lower voltages then patriot mem (he said some...

Thanks for the update, I'm trying to get another machine so I'll have something to work with while I don't have the memory to run in this one. Then I'll send it over.
I tested it will each stick in the mem slot 1, and it would not boot into windows with any of them. The ram is labeled at the 1600 spec, with 8,8,8, 24 timings.
It seems like a pretty long shot...
I just put a new i7 based machine together about 5 weeks ago, and are having some problems. Whenever I set the memory to the rated specs following the screenshots exactly from this forum, it will...
