Move all files to the ext2 drive, Format the Fat32 drive to ext2, Move back. Done.
This is what turns me off to this thing. I get 40MB/s easily on my Celeron D Ubuntu server. The Valkyrie SHOULD be faster.

If your looking for something easy and stable, go D-Link. This NAS is not-ready-for-prime-time in my opinion. Too many quirks and resetting users and groups for my taste. I've stopped using mine, if...
You know, the normal users and groups disappearing. Plus I had one disk fail and the raid wouldn't rebuild when it was replaced.
Sure... Anything that works. Mine has been in a box for 2 months awaiting some form of a usable (NON-crashing) firmware. I can't afford another raid failure.
Definitely some form of scheduled...
AFP (netatalk). Avahi
It's not going to show in "Home Share", it will show in "Shared". You also have to make sure you looking for shared libraries.

It'll be a few more months. I gave up and boxed mine up. Anyone want a second one? I'll never use it again. $80 plus shipping takes it.
Haha! That'll NEVER happen.
I'd return it if I could... If that means anything.
Hello??!! Anyone?!!
...Last Patriot product I ever buy or recommend!
Nevermind... We're on different pages on this.
Then what's the point of a DDNS service? I'm not going to assign a public IP to my nas server. It should search for the public IP address like a DYNDNS updater. Why would I want to report my NAS...
What's the status of this elusive "Firmware update"? I'm beyond my return date, and it looks as though Newegg.com took the product down, so I'm stuck with this thing. I'd like it to work as it was...

The DDNS service reports it's LOCAL IP address (192.168.1.6) instead of it's PUBLIC IP address (68.0.x.x), kind of defeats the purpose. Will this be addressed in an upcoming firmware update?
Any status on that firmware upgrade?
Is the built in uPnP server not working?
Where will the firmware updates be avalible for download?
Than why is it in "supported protocol" on your website?!
I would like to have email notification of a drive failure, etc. Right now the only way is checking the web interface on a normal basis.
I am unable to mount this AFP. Also there is not instruction in any documentation about it. Any help would be great.
