Ps: I...
do you see a green check mark next the drive
if so then it's ok ,reboot and it will be updated
rste is a given,we already knew that
I already had the other files installed I just reinstalled chipset 9.3.0.1020 and that solved my issue
if your drive still says scsi then reinstall the 9.3.0.1020 drivers with the -overall switch and it
reinstall over again and you will see it change to ata now
then it will work
if you update to the newest intel chipset drivers 9.3.0.1020 it will solve the issue and
you will be able to update the firmware
no,it didn't work for me
my system would bsod everytime it booted in ide mode until I changed it back to ahci
there's something wrong with the updater, that's what wrong
is it because intel see's it as a scsi ssd instread of a regular ssd 3.0.0.3020
ran it as admin with no luck
updater opens but will not find my drive and it's the boot drive
I have a pyro 120 and fw3.3.2 on a x79 asus board (intel sata slots) and the updater won't even see the drive
to update it
thanks,I wound up buying a 12gb kit of Patriot viper extreme px7312g2000elk
I guess it's the same as what I have now but different heat speaders
I just save the other 2 for spares
