Hi Don,

You can use the PGS312G1600ELK, however please be aware that the memory you have was designed to run at speed on the X58 platform. Thus you may have to settle running it with relax timings and/or frequencies; such as 1333 9-9-9, 7-7-7 or increase the overall dram voltages (1.70, 1.80, 1.90) to get the speeds to work.

If you are purchasing 2 x 6GB kits of our 1600ELK, you may need to relax the timings or make minor tweaks to get them working at the rated timings at 12GB.

Otherwise you can go with our 12GB kit: PGS312G1600ELK, that has been tested and designed to run at spec at 12GB.
