PG38G1333EL - Only compatible with Intel 6 Series Platforms based...?

Hi,

I currently have a system with an MSI 880GM-E43 motherboard.

I am interested in getting two sticks (i.e., 2x8GB) of this memory:

But, under "Details" it says:

"Only compatible with Intel 6 Series Platforms based on 2nd Gen Intel Core Processors"

I currently have 2 sticks (2x8GB) of this memory in the system:

and under "Details", the specs for my current memory look exactly the same as the Patriot PG38G1333EL, i.e.:

Speed DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Cas Latency 9
Timing 9-9-9-24
Voltage 1.5V
ECC No
Buffered/Registered Unbuffered

Does anyone know why this Patriot memory might be "Only compatible with Intel 6 Series Platforms based on 2nd Gen Intel Core Processors"? Also, will this work in my system, together with the 2x8GB memory that I already have (i.e., total 32GB)?

I would like to safely restore my ssd to factory specs so I can reuse it on another computer. What is the recomended way to restore the drive. Do I need to use gpart or another utility?

Does the old Core remote work with the Alpine ?

I am very happy with the Core remote and I am thinking of upgrading to the Alpine. Will the functions of the Core remote work on the Alpine ? I am specially interested in the CIM and the Ins. replay functions. I have a Hard Drive connected by usb- Would FF go up to 64 ?

I read something online a few weeks ago about a new media player Patriot are working on, not the Alpine Android one but a newer player which is Linux based I believe. Can anyone give any official news about this player and even the name as i've forgot it and you'd help me not sound stupid when telling friends about it lol.

I want to change my memory, but i'm not sure it will be work.

Motherboard support fast memory with XMP.
I want to buy and put this memory PXD38G1866ELK
8GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-15000 (1866MHz) Enhanced Latency Kit!

Do you know if this will work?

PS I tried many memory but will not work (not to pass BIOS). I also read that many people have similar problems. Motherboard is very, very picky.

Business Not Open?

I had a 256Gb SSD that failed after just 45 days so I got an RMA and sent it back for replacement but the post office said they could not deliver it because the business was not open on Friday or Saturday.
Are you going to reopen soon or are you closed for good?

Cannot play RTSP stream: server not supported

I am on P70R2.megapack firmware.
Using rss file I could play some RTSP streams in the following format:

But a new stream I am trying cannot be played. So I telnet to the PBO and do the test, and get this error:

A timings question

Hi everyone.

I just bought the i5 3570 and the Asus P877 V-PRO.
Stock memory max 1600.

Looking at the PVV34G2400C9K at 9-11-9-27.

If I throllel this RAM perhaps to 2000, how tight can I get the timings?
Or at 1866?

I plan to install 2X4 for 8 total.
1.65 is the max recommended voltage that should be applied.

If this is doable, who offers the best pricing for patriot memory?

Formatting problem with 8gb micro sd hc class 10 card

I use a mini keychain video camera with the micro card and was working fine. Next time i hook it up to my computer and went to format and it said can not complete format and unable to format HELP!!!

I would imagine the Playbook version would be updated as well.

We can now play music with the TV off.

The first is ff limited to 2X in media server
The second is no possibility to skip forward

Hi,

I am using the P70R2.megapack, but I have many stability issues and need to reflash often (first to P02, but no big help). After working OK for two months now it is bad every 2 days.

I am looking for new firmware to use. I mainly want to view live Internet TV stations.

Just for example is like I go to IMS section -> X-Live -> Live TV and watch the MCE channel for France.
I find the URL and edit my own RSS or in playlist.

Can you recommend such firmware? Can it play RTMP streams that now I cannot?

Will these 2 tyes of memory work together

I have two different types of Patriot memroy running in my system.

1) PSD22G800K-I 2 x 1gb sticks PC 6400
2) PDC22G6400LLK 2 x 1 gb sticks PC 6400

I have had them running in an EVGA 680i SLI mobo for about three years which can run PC 6400 DDR2 ram. I did a clean install of Win 7 64bit and that is when i noticed the voltage settings for the ram are different for each pair. Set one runs at 1.9v while set 2 is rated to run at 2.2v.

Should I buy a matching pair? Or can I run these at some voltage in between? I think, but I am not certain that the prior install had them running at 1.9v.
