Hello,

I'm new to patriot media player and media players in general. What i'm trying to do is to locate my pbo on my windows 7 machine. my hopes are to leave an external hard drive hooked up to it and transfers files via network instead of unplugging the hard drive every time. my father has the old PBO core, which shows up on his network at venus. Has anyone ben able to do this or is it just an issue with my player.

Thanks in advance

Kewbla

You need to install a samba sever on the PBO Alpine to be seen it on your window machine. See my post here (http://www.patriotmemory.com/forums/showthread.php?8607-How-to-Install-Alpine-apps-to-SD-card-instead-of-system&p=51345#post51345) for more info.

Cheers!!!
