Hi,
I am particularly interested in this unit since there is a $100 rebate (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822219006) on the unit that expires today.
I wanted to ask if I wanted to first populate it with 2-2TB disks in a RAID 1 configuration, could I upgrade it later with 2 more disks in a RAID 1 or RAID 10 configuration.
I am looking to use this as a home-network disk (not so much for streaming as file storage). The alternative I am looking at is the synology 411j/411.

Thank you,

Hello,

Yes you can. The unit has an automatic rebuild feature in raid 1,5, or 10.
