Dashboard crashing

Hi all

Just bought a Javelin, and have installed Dashboard. But when I go to start Dashboard, it will do the initial loading, show the main screen, and then just disappear. The icon appears in my system tray but as soon as I try to click on it, it disappears!

I'm not sure what to do and have installed/uninstalled it a few times onto different drives. Anyone experienced similar issues?

Nope. I installed it on XP Pro SP3 and had no such crashes. I don't use it much if at all though. I just use the browser interface to the Javelin instead.

If you are on Windows, check the Event Viewer for crash info. Maybe there's something there to help debug.

I do not recommend using the dashboard. The web interface is a little less streamlined, but MUCH more powerful.

OK thanks guys - I'm just no expert in NAS so wanted to use the easiest thing possible. Guess I will use the web interface then!
