Can't stream so much on my PS3?

Hi,

I have a valkyrie and I'm trying to stream it to my PS3. Now I have tried a PS3 tool to convert my avi to mp4 but the mp4 will not show up on my PS3? But will work on a media player?

It's not the PS3 as I have a program on my PC to stream to my PS3 which works with this mp4.

Any idea?

the valk doesnt have a transcoder built in. and the media player is built to handle various formats ...but ur ps3 doesnt handle anything but mpeg 4 im sure if u think about it u wil figure it out i know i already have
