Hi,

I have the PBO with the PBO-Wireless-Adapter and I am not able to configure the adapter properly with the right settings. I have a AVM Fritz!Box 7170 and I don't use DHCP. All my Network adapters will be configured manually and uses the IP-range 192.168.178.xxx, but the IP of the PBO-Wireless-Adapter has 169.254.52.212. So I took the Wireless-Adapter into my Desktop-PC with Windows 7 (Ultimate) and configured it to the IP-address 192.168.178.113. Now I connected the Wireless adapter again to the PBO and watched in the AVM Fritz!Box 7170 the displayed Values. And what do I see: 169.254.52.212 (I'm really rather confused). As long as the adapter has the wrong IP (169...) I cannot connect to my network.

It's important for me to use the PBO with the wireless adapter. If this is not possible I will return the Box to the Dealer.

My PBO has the FW P61R2 and Bootcode 27.

Please help me and Sorry for my English

Greetings

I don't think the adapter can remember the IP address. However, you may set in the router to assign a fixed IP to the MAC address of your adapter. Alternatively, you may configure an IP address manually on the PBO.
