Can not open media file ?

Hello:

I have already register on metafeeds.com and also followed their guide to add code to menu.rss ( I am still using official firmware but just change menu.rss and remount), and I can see the menu items on my PBO , however, some channels can not be opened, for example, the following:

I buy the new PBO just because I want to find more kids TV show, However, there is few channels I can find, and most of them do not work. when I tried to click above channels, most of them gave me error msg: Can not open media file.

So what is the reason ? Do I have to use semi-official firmware ?

open the rss file in your browser and copy and past the media address in VLC and see if it would play there.

The link you quoted had 5 feeds, 3 of which are apparently outdated (not available), 1 is giving me a rotating busy video file and only Disney channel is working (on VLC).

If you only bought a new PBO just because you wanted to find more kids show, I think that was more of a wishful thinking on your part :).

If you want kids programming on your box, I would go with Playon.tv and stream the contents to the PBO using UPnP.

Now I know they are not availble, not my PBO's problem.

Is anybody can find online videos (RSS ?) from TreehouseTV: http://treehousetv.com/ and let them be played on PBO ? I can see some videos from their site, but I don't know how to make links watchable from PBO.
