Make sure that you have Samba/Bt enable (on) on your PBO. I think it's in the system setting menu. By the way the transcode software is pretty useless if you already know your PBO IP just use your web browser to access the bt client by entering in the address bar your PBO ip; for example 192.168.0.100.
You can also see your HDD content by mapping your drive in window as a network drive also using the PBO IP address or just go to my neighborhood and it should be there as long as samba/bt are enable.
Good luck
Opps sorry I misread your post; if you see something even for a second then dissapear then I think that samba/bt crashes right after startup. Btpd (bt client has been known to crash a lot and some time taken the samba server with it. If you can telnet to your PBO can you issue the "ps" command to see if samba and btpd are running or not.
Hello.
I have exact same problem. When I reboot PBO I can see all that data. after few seconds/minutes everything disappear.
I also can't see Torrents which I'm downloading, cause nothing is there the same as BitTorrent, System status an HDD storage info. (that is really annoying cause I can't manage my downloads).
"ps" command return this:

P.S. I had old firmware when I noticed that this is happening, now I upgraded on latest version, but it's the same.
And I noticed that IE browser is returning error: Error on page:

Please help if anyone knows how to.

I am not sure whats your problem.
Sharing is working for you. BT is broken, it is broken for everyone currently.
And for Transcode Server, its a useless piece of software, don't bother yourself with it.

Read this (http://www.patriotmemory.com/forums/showpost.php?p=32619&postcount=56) post on your other thread and if you have torrents network load wifi or hardwired and external usb drive or internal drive that you have a limited amount of power to go around the system and is probably why the connections keep dropping and downloads die.
thanks scboley
your post made me think about resources and hardware capability of this box. It all make sense now.
