I ordered a "Bargaincell- Brand New Nokia 6103, 6102i, 6102, 6101, 2125i, 2126i, 2128i, 3220, 6015i..." cable from Amazon to flash my bootcode. The picture appeared to be the same as those seen here on the forum. The cost was $1.75 (USD).
The cable arrived today but it is not the cable I thought I was ordering. The one that came is a Nokia branded Type CA-53 with a possible part number of 108382746201. It is a black cable with the word "Nokia" impressed into the rubber on both ends.
My question is does anyone know if this cable will work as required? I really don't want to cut it apart if it is not going to work.
Any advice would be most helpful.
Edited 2:12PM - By doing a Google search I may have answered part of my own question. It appears the CA-53 is a straight USB cable with no transceiver. Now my question is will this work? I think I already know the answer to be "No" but I want to find out for sure.
