Hi,
I currently have 2GB on my system (pdc22g6400llk model) running at 800MHz 4-4-4-12 2.1V.
I want to add more memory and was thinking on getting on DIMM of pep22g6400el (2GB DIMM). I see that the specs for this memory has slower timings than my 2Gig DIMMs.
Would I have problems lowering the timings on the pep22g6400el to match my current memory? Could there be any compatibility issues between the two models? I would like to go with this model in case I decide to increase the mem to 6GB later on.
Is this move good or should I just by another pair of pdc22g6400llk and stay just with 4GB total?
Thanks for the help in advance.

P.S. Here&apos;s a picture of my cheap home made memory cooler <img src=&quote;/images/forum/regular_smile.gif&quote; align=absmiddle border=0>. The last pic is the humble beginning. Hope you like it.

The LLK kit will get downclocked and the memory timings will be raised to match the EL kit. So basically, you will be going from 4-4-4 to 5-5-5 timings. The frequency may stay at 800mhz. To eliminate the chance of the motherboard having issues with the different modules, it&apos;s always better to pick up some more modules like the LLK you already have. That would be the better route to go.
