What should I realistically be expecting from my Patroit xPorter 16gb for read/write speeds?
It was literally CRAWLING before I did a full, clean format with the HP tool (versus the quick format I always do) and I'm seeing write speeds of 10MB/s now and read speeds of 30MB/s which is considerably faster than it was pre full format.
Is this the typical realistic read/write speeds, or should I give it a run with the low level format tool and see if that increases it?
I'm not worried that it's "slow" really, but I don't really know data transfer speeds all that well so I don't know how to compare these results, since this is the first time I've ever benchmarked read/write speeds to a drive.
