With new devices coming out to compete with the PBO, such as the PopBox, that have netflix streaming capabilities, is it technically possible for the PBO to do Netflix streaming via a firmware update. If so, is this an option that is being considered for future firmware updates?

Been reading some about the PopBox, the UI looks awesome, I had pretty much decided to return my PBO & wait for the release of the PopBox, but then I was reading some things on some AV forums about how it looks like it throws up ads. If you look at some of the screen short & the video from the CES conference you can clearly see a huge NetFlix ad. Also, it doesn't look like it supports the DVD ISO container format, which is a killer for me as most of my stuff is in ISO format. I sure love the UI however, sigh...

Actually it does play iso. As far as the ads, yea, I agree that will hurt the company. But we see ads everyplace. Just learn to ignore it. There is always Boxee, which is ad free. For me, I am waiting one more week for some responses from Patriot to some of my questions/concerns before making the final decision to return the PBO. Hopefully, they will come through in answering and solving the various issues I am having, but so far there has been lack of support on this forums (imo at least).

Their official website & all of their official announcments do not list ISO as one of their supported video containers, am I missing something?

I came across several blog posts, including one where one guy visited their home office and he listed that it supported iso. So just going by those blogs. Yet to be released, so anything can happen till then.
