Video distortion

Hi I'm getting some video distortion when trying to connect using

hdmi for video

spdif for audio

I'm not getting the distorsion when using only HDMI

any advice?

video distortion happened on the same video?

are you connecting to TV or receiver?

yes on the same video
hdmi to TV, spdif to amplifier

only happen when using the spdif audio

doesn't happen when using rca audio

it's not really distortion it's more pixelisation, It's as if there is a shadow of pixel in everything on the screen

I'm getting video distortion on other inputs of my TV, when the RCA audio cables are connected and the unit is powered down. It's really bizarre. The distortion isn't there when the PBO is playing over HDMI though.

I just realised that it seems to do that when the box stays powered on for a long period of time.
