I have a Tforce 6100 mobo and purchased 2x1GB (2GB total) of your PC2-6400 ram with advertised timings of 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1V. I have two issues:
1.) The motherboard has allowable memory voltage of 1.6-2.0 via BIOS, but the user can set a fixed Vdimm of 2.2 via jumper. So i can either pick 2.0V or 2.2V, but NOT 2.1V as specified by you. Which is preferable?
2.) I'd like to know what the recomended settings are for the rest of the timings, specifically the following (current settings are shown in parenthesis):
TwTr (3 bus clocks)
Trfc (75ns)
Twr (6 bus clocks) [write recovery time]
Trtp (3 clocks) [precharge time]
Trc (26 bus clocks) [row cycle time]
Trcd (4 clocks) [RAS to CAS R/W delay]
Trrd (4 clocks) [RAS to RAS delay]
Trp (4 clocks) [Row precharge time]
Tras (12 clocks) [Minimum RAS active time]
Memory voltage = 2.0 V
Any help is greatly appreciated
