Hi

In no way do I update the firmware to the new version of the Patriot Torqx SSD 128 GB.
Each time the error shows up.
Interestingly, after this operation and so the firmware has changed from 0953 to 1571, but the speed remained the same (less than 200MB/s).
Is the disk may be damaged?
Please reply and sorry for the typos, poorly speak English.

You had a Torqx with v0953 firmware? Never heard of that. Maybe it was the first one released.

I hope someone can help you with your problem. Seems odd that the F/W would change....

The SSD is a secondary drive ("slave") correct? You're not trying to run the firmware update from the SSD are you?

Of course. SSD is always a second drive. My operating system is Windows 7 RC 7100 64-bit

Well if the firmware says 1571, then it should be 1571. Upgrading the firmware does not mean that you will have a speed increase. That is a limitation of your motherboard controller it would seem.

Hmm, I do not think. Firmware went, and the number has changed but not sure of is working well because there were errors

In me is the same. http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/14648/40/1/1/
