Recently I tried to upgrade the Firmware of my new convoy XL (PCXL25SR) and unfortunately the electricity went out in the middle of the process. After that I could not access the drives any more using the 57xxSteelVineManager utility. Is there a way to reset the unit to the factory settings? I could not find anything on the manuals or online.
Thank you in advance.

Carlos,
The ConvoyXL does not come with any firmware updates. Where did you get the firmware? In which way did you updated the convoy? Is it through steelvine?

The update was from Silicon Image using the steelvine utility. I found that it was a wrong version after all. But the problem is that there is no way to restore the original firmware since the Steelvine utility doesn't work anymore. Thank you for helping.

First, remove your hard drives (if you have important data on it), unplug the power and hold down the reset switch for about 20 seconds. Plug it back in and see if the unit will be recongize. This may not solve the issue, but if still doesn't work, we'd be happy to replace the unit for you.
Please send your RMA request to support@patriotmem.com w/ link to this thread.
Your data should be fine as long as the new unit is set to your old RAID setting.
let us know if you have any other questions.
