Patriot Xporter xt 32GB 200x - averange speed

For those who need to know speeds i tested my Patriot Xporter xt 200x, averange read speed under vista 64/windows 7 is 30MB/sec., write speed is 19MB/sec.. :) Under xp 32 is speed lower, read 27, write 16. ;)

yes i know those speeds,
but be careful how u format the stick because if u dont format it ok
that speed will go Down... in special the Write seed from 16mb/s now it is 7-8 mb/sec, and i have no idea what to do to come back to the same speed i had

I think- default format is FAT32, allocation size (table) 16KB. But i tested other formats (NTFS, ExFAT) and more table sizes (from 4KB to 64KB) and speed is "the same" as when i format flash with default settings.
But no under XP 32bit. Under XP 32bit is speed slow and more sensitive to format settings.
So, and when i used NTFS then "sometime" write speed starting at high values "90MB/s etc." and go down to 12-14MB/s after some moments... I think- NTFS using caching or somethink like that...
But, I think best is FAT32, 16KB allocation size. (per sector?) :)
